Contact Information Policy

Zonse Point's messaging, payment, escrow and dispute tools only apply to a transaction that stays on the platform. Sharing contact information to move a deal off-platform — before or after a sale — takes it outside those tools for both parties and is not permitted. See the full Terms & Conditions.

What’s Prohibited

You may not include any of the following in a listing (title, description, or photos) or in messages: • Phone numbers • Email addresses • Physical addresses • Website links or QR codes • Social media or messaging-app handles (WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, etc.)

This applies regardless of intent — it is not permitted even if you believe sharing it would be harmless or convenient for the buyer or seller.

How This Is Enforced

Zonse Point uses automated checks, which apply in the same way on the website, the mobile app and any direct use of our API: • Listing text (title and description) is scanned for phone numbers, email addresses, links, and social media handles. Matches are redacted — replaced with [hidden] — and the rest of your listing is otherwise unaffected. • Listing photos may be checked for contact information visible in the image itself (for example, a phone number written on a sign or sticker). A flagged photo may be rejected and not saved to your listing. Automated checks do not catch everything; you remain responsible for what you post.

Enforcement Escalation

A blocked image or a redaction is recorded as one violation. Consequences escalate with how many violations an account has within a rolling 30-day period: • 1st and 2nd violation: a warning. The content is blocked or redacted; no further action. • 3rd violation: the listing involved is suspended (hidden from buyers) for 1 week. • 4th violation: the listing involved is suspended for 2 weeks. • 5th violation and beyond: all of your listings are suspended and you cannot create new listings for 30 days.

Once 30 days pass with no further violations, your violation count resets and any active suspension is lifted automatically. Violation records themselves are kept permanently for audit purposes, even after a suspension ends.

Why We Do This

This mirrors standard practice across established marketplaces: Buyer Protection, Seller Protection, escrow and disputes under the Terms apply only to transactions made through Zonse Point. A transaction that moves off-platform is outside them, for either party, and Zonse Point is not responsible for it.

If You Believe This Was a Mistake

If you believe your listing or photo was blocked in error, or a suspension was applied incorrectly, you can raise it through the Complaints page.
